More than Pizza
Welcome to Family Pizza, where family and great food come together in the heart of Colchester! We are bursting with pride as a third-generation, family-owned and operated restaurant that has captured the taste buds and hearts of our beloved community. Our journey began in 1978 when our Pappou and Yiayia, known to all as Kathy and Jimmy, opened the doors of Family Pizza on Lebanon Avenue. Little did they know, they were about to create a legacy.
As time went on, our parents, along with our aunt and uncle, assumed the reins of the family business and relocated to our current home on South Main Street. With each passing year, Family Pizza has woven strong ties with our extended family—the incredible people of Colchester.
The dream team of Anna, Kosta, Christos, and Maria poured their heart and soul into making Family Pizza the go-to spot for our community. We owe a huge slice of gratitude to our unstoppable parents, Anna and Kosta, who tirelessly kneaded dough, flipped pizzas, and worked to ensure our bright future.
Fast forward to January 2022, and behold the rise of the third generation pizza family—Dimitri, Foti, and Jocelyn Anastasiou. While some faces may have changed and technology has been updated, our unwavering commitment to delicious food, exemplary service, our community, and the Family Pizza family remains.
Looking ahead, our mission at Family Pizza Restaurant & Grill is to follow in our parents' footsteps and wholeheartedly serve our families, employees, and cherished customers.
